Why Do I Even Bother?

Aug. 25th, 2006 | 05:31 pm

The answer to this question rails on my mind more and more. The more people I reach out to, the more never answer. It's like life is a series of honeymoons angled towards a season of happiness, of thinking that maybe you're getting ahead, that you have someone to trust. To hell with that.

I never stray too far from the sidewalk
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
I found I can't trust not only me but anyone around me
I am afraid.

Meh.

Beautiful things happen sometimes...

I got laid. There, I said it. I got the laidness. And I'm not telling who or what circumstance, but it was beautiful.

And yet so very very wrong. There is someone I love desperately, who I can't have, so I run to another man's arms? I am a complete moron.

Classes come and go, and nothing seems to matter really, except the meetings, which are quite interesting, though all they do is talk. I'm desperate for someone to actually do something they say they'll do, like striking the... back. They talk and talk, and say nothing. Ugh. There has to be someone out there who does more than talk.

Have you ever felt like standing in the middle of the street, your sperm spewing down your leg for the dogs to lap up? Have you ever stared at the stars and waited for the sky to fall? Have you ever stared at the colors on the wall and looked for skeletal frogs? If so, then you're the bastard who stole my drugs. And I will find you. Oh yes, I will find you.

I give. Completely.

As mildly as I had hoped that this place would be better than the last...the world really doesn't change, does it?

And, like the rest of the world, I survive.

Students, your first quiz is tomorrow. Don't forget.

Finally!

So, I can finally walk again, after having my ears blared out by the sirens. Do the badguys ever get told to go away and not come back? *snikt*

In any case, my classes will begin over summer vacation. I know I'll be offering ASL and Horseback Riding and TaeKwanDo...others will be posted as I talk to the Professor about them.

Please IM me if you would like to take any of these courses.

Miss Stephanie

p.s. Thank you so much for writing back, Steven. It's nice to see that some people are not afraid of the new teacher. (sic)

Drop By...

Apr. 10th, 2006 | 03:49 pm

So, all of you...

I'm laid up for the next few days (up to a week)with this awful cast on my lower leg. It's horrid! I just get here and get all stationary because of a wolf. They had to put stitches in and everything...

In any case, I'm sure my classes will start up as soon as I'm out of bed...I'll try to get some ASL going on the computer course software Professor X gave me...

Please come by! I'm lonely in my room all alone! I'd so like to meet some of you when you're not responding to an SOS siren!

Sincerely,
Miss Stephanie

Hello Students and Staff!

Good Evening!

I have been asked to keep a journal on the school’s internet. I find this to be very satisfactory, as it will give me a way to keep posted on the doings of the school and to remind people about homework.
Just kidding. Scared you, didn’t I? J

Ah. In any case, I am Stephanie McNabb, though all the students are free to call me Miss Steph. Not Mrs. Anything, if you please. It makes me feel old…which I am not!

I will be the schools resident substitute teacher/tutor and I'll also offer a few side classes, like Horseback Riding, ASL, and Tae Kwon Do. I look forward to everyone in some class or other, or just seeing you around!

I’m not the sort of teacher to have office hours, so if anyone needs anything, please, just come knock on my door, room 3008. 10:00p.m. is acceptable. 3:00 a.m. is not. You get the idea.

A pleasure to meet you all!

Stephanie McNabb
